The online application process is available to domestic and international applicants for undergraduate or postgraduate courses, single subject (non-award) study and re-admission to a previous course studied at Deakin University. The application process takes around 10 minutes to complete. Please ensure you have your academic and/or work related information handy in order to complete this application. You will need to supply certified transcripts and/ or other documents to support your application.

All VCE students (both domestic and international) must apply via the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) website.

Domestic Applicants

Domestic applicants are Australian Citizens, New Zealand citizens or holders of a permanent residence visa.

Domestic applicants can either upload scanned/electronic certified documents via this portal or can send these to Admissions, Enrolments and Records, DSA, Deakin University, Geelong, VIC 3217 within 5 working days of submitting an application. Please quote the application number which you will receive at the final step of the online application process.

Please note that not all courses are available at mid year.

All courses offered mid year are on a fee paying basis. There are no Commonwealth Supported Places available for mid year entry.

International Applicants

International applicants may apply for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs in either mode of on campus (studying in Australia) or off campus (studying from home country).

International on campus students need to apply for a student visa for the duration of their studies at Deakin University.

To support the online application applicants can upload scanned/electronic certified documents via the portal and will need to bring original documentation to Australia to finalise enrolment into the accepted program.
