The final step is to upload your documents before the deadline. Make sure you submit relevant, specific examples to support your application rather than numerous documents which are not relevant.

Please answer the following questions to assist us in offering the most applicable scholarships for your application. Please note: Any changes made to questions you have already answered may affect your eligibility in any scholarship that you have not submitted. It is recommended that you review your scholarship selection after making any changes here.

To begin adding scholarships, click on the Add Scholarship + button and select the scholarships you are applying for. Repeat this process until you have all selected each scholarship that you wish to apply for.

To remove a scholarship that you are no longer applying for click Remove.

Every time you reach this step click on the Add Scholarship + button to ensure you have added every scholarship that you are eligible to apply for.

Your answers to the following questions will be used to support your application for the selected scholarships. Your application will be assessed and ranked based on your responses. Check you've answered all questions and double-check for spelling errors.

Please type your answers directly into the text boxes provided. Avoid using any special characters, such as ? < > - | in your responses, and do not copy and paste from another document as this will cause an error.

Please review your application details and click Continue if all details are correct. If any changes are required, navigate to the relevant step and update your application.

Next steps:

  • In the table below tick the scholarship application/s you want to submit.
  • Then click the submit applications button.
  • The page will be updated to confirm that the application has been successfully submitted.
  • You will receive a Confirmation of Scholarship Application Submission email to your registered email address.
  • Remember to upload your supporting documents. For your application to be considered, you must provide these documents before the closing date of the relevant scholarship.

To support your scholarship application, you will need to upload supporting documentation.

Your application cannot be assessed if supporting documents are not provided, but if you can't provide them now, you can return to your application and upload them by the scholarship closing date.


When you upload documents

  • Choose the right 'document type' to help us assess your application
  • Only provide documents that are relevant and concise
  • If a document fits into multiple categories, you only need to upload it once
  • Documents uploaded for previous scholarship applications cannot be considered. If your document is still current and relevant to your new application, you will need to reupload it using a new file name for it to be considered

Scholarship applications

  • Domestic scholarship applicants - your documents must be uploaded by the scholarship closing date or your application will not be considered.
  • International scholarship applicants - if you completed a scholarship application within the scholarships section of this portal, upload your documents by the scholarships closing date. If your scholarship application was not through this Portal, please submit your documentation to deakin-int-admissions@deakin.edu.au.

Document format

Only upload documents as PDFs (.pdf). If you upload other file types that cannot be opened, your application cannot be assessed.

If your documents are too big you could try to decrease their size by using an online file compression site.

Changing these details will affect all your scholarship applications with Deakin.

If you have an account but have forgotten the details you can:

  • Be sent an email to recover your password by entering your email address below.
  • Contact Student Central if you aren't sure of your Applicant ID.

An email will be sent upon successful registration.
If you are a current Deakin student, please register using the same name as you are registered with at Deakin.
